Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My ex husband has always picked up and dropped off our children because his work pays for his has on both personal and work time. We have been divorced for over 2 years and he recently wants this changed. It does not benefit myself or our children financially. In fact it hurt the children and myself financially because this expense was not added into my child support. He also has always paid their school lunches -... before, during, and in these two years after the divorce was finalized. He now wants me to pay the school lunches as well. He had me served today to attend a mediation. Can he force me to start driving and picking up the children as well as paying for their school lunches?

I'm not quite sure if I fully understand the financial arrangement/employment benefit you refer to in the first sentence, but if I am hearing you correctly you are saying that dad has been the pickup/dropoff person for all parenting-time exchanges, or at least all school deliveries/pickups? It would be helpful to know what it says in your court orders if anything about transportation, school lunches, etc. Also I don't think you can be served to attend a mediation. He probably served you with a petition to modify the divorce decree in one or more aspects. Without more information I cannot advise you further. Thank you, and best of luck!
