how do i ind out if my ex-daughter in law had given legal custody of my grand daughter to her parents or allowed them to adopt my grand dauhter to prevent myself and my son from having any rights to her?

If a change in legal custody is made that should be public record. You should be able to get a copy of the applicable court ruling or order. If not you should probably hire a lawyer and have them subpoena the records because you and your son have a vested interest in this matter and shouldn't have been left out of it.
