I recently found out that my ex defaulted on student loans. I gave them the most current address and phone numbers.
How does it look in the courts eyes when the ex is battling me in court and now has me at the appeal level for not wanting to pay the ''new'' increase in child support and has been hiding from these defaulted loans for years, yet has plenty of money to pay for an attorney and keep this process ongoing through the courts for a second year for what was supposed to be a simple modification? Can knowing this help me in any way?

Generally speaking her loan payment has nothing to do with childsupport. The main issues with child support is your income her income, other children, insurance, daycare, and visitation. If you have more direct questions you can set up an appt. with my office. Good Luck
