Insurance money
My son was killed in an auto accident. His father and i are divorced 22 years. Does the insurance money come to me and if so do i have to share with him

Thank you for your inquiry and I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
If the life insurance policy named a beneficiary, then that designation will control the distribution of proceeds. If there was not a designation of a beneficiary, then the proceeds will be distributed according to Arizona's laws of intestacy (this is a bit more complicated and would probably require an in-person consultation).
If your son named you as his beneficiary, then you are not required to share the proceeds with his father.
