Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
Hello my name is Jason Stanley i am in the military and am getting the run around with this problem. I got married in South Korea and tried to get a visa for her but things just didnt work out, so we are getting a divorce. She has never been to the states a day in her life and we have nothing together at all. She is Russian and currently lives there. I have served her twice cause she is non responsive. I did how ever serve her through certified mail and I recived the paper from Fed Ex saying she has recieved them but when I went to the court house the judge said something about not having something saying that was the proper way to serve her so she could not proceed with the divorce. She said something about a Hayens act or something along those lines but she said it so fast and was so brief with me before she left the court room i was unable to get the exact name of what is was. Can someone help me please.

Did the Judge mention the Hague Convention? I am not sure why such would apply, but could check into it for you.
Since you have no property and no debt, you should also be able to simply serve her through "publication".
