Can my kids have a lawyer in the custody fight because nether one want to live with thier mother in tx my boy is11 and my girl is 7
1 Answer from Attorneys
The children absolutely can and should be "interviewed". The Judge is REQUIRED to consider their desires. In some circumstances, yes, attorneys can be appointed to represent the children. This does not occur in most matters.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options inthis custody matter.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
