What kind of custody papers do i file to care for my grandchild while my daughter, the babys motbher is in prison? She is currently incarcerated and will be for at least 2 years after the birth.

I believe a guardianship could accomplish your stated goal. If mother is willing to grant you guardianship, it is a relatively simple process.
