Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

legal age for non visitation with non custodial parent

My grandson is 11 yrs old. His parents are no longer together. My daughter has married and his father has a girlfriend. Both have another child with the ones they are with. My grandson is being verbally abused and has been struck by his father. His father's girlfriend has made it clear that she doesn't want my grandson at their home. he would like to stop going to his father's for visitation. On top of all this his father is not paying any child support and has already been deemed in contempt of court because of it. My grandson gets along great with his stepfather. My daughter wants to see if the judge will talk to my grandson but she doesn't know how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: legal age for non visitation with non custodial parent

without a case pending(modification of custody or parenting time) that won't happen. If a case is filed by one of the parties, you might be able to get the court to interview the child.
