Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Hello, is it legal to request a restraining order against my ex-husband, via, phone, computer and where we work and go to school, and my house (i don't THINK he knows where we live) he's not violent, but we have been divorced for 2 years, (away from each other 2 1/2 years) and he has (in the past) sent me text messages in which i have never responded to. Now, he's on face book, asking my son to be his "friend"... (my children are not his) of course, he responded "oh, don't you have balls", then we promptly blocked him. apparently, i have already been blocked on his face book, i was not even aware he was on there. or is there something else i can do AND still not have contact with him? in looking at the "select area of law" i can't see one for this. please forward as i am sure i will pick the wrong one.

thank you in advance.

Kim

There are steps you can take if he is harassing you or if he has or is likely to commit an act of domestic violence. ("Injunction against Harassment, or Order of Protection").

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
