Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Legal Separation in Az.

Finances will not allow either one of us to live apart. We both own this home and both want to stay. We live in separate bedrooms now for 2 years. Can we file for a legal separation? It would be best and more practicle for us right now until a better $$ solution arises. Thax E

You could actually still divorce and live together. A legal separation is the same as a divorce, except that you are not divorced. In a legal separation, assets are divided, child support is ordered and spousal support is ordered and debts are divided.
