Re: legal separation

Legal Separation and Dissolution are 2 different things, one results in the end of your marriage and one was does not. BOTH require you to equitably divide assets and debts and resolve any child related matters such as custody, parenting time and suport. Some times people chose LS over Dissolution because of religious reasons, interest in attempting reconciliation down the road and so forth. However, both still result in a decree, either a Decree of Legal Separation or Decree of Dissolution.
