Re: Legal Separation

There is no timeline or requirement of separation in Arizona. Parties can seek a divorce while still living in the same house. A local attorney from you county should be able to help or you can seek a divorce by filing on your own. The Maricopa County self help center has sample instructions & forms at http://supreme.state.az.us/selfserv. If you dont live in Maricopa County, just change the name in the heading to your county. Most courts should accept these forms. Depending on your income, you may qualify for Legal Aid services. They offer Divorce Clinics to help you complete the necessary paperwork on your own.
