Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

in loco parenti

I am in the process of filing for custody of my 6 year old granddaughter. I spoke to an attorney who said I should file for Grandparent Visitation along with ''in loco parenti''. I went to the Law Library Self Service Center to get these forms but I was told their is no form for ''in loco parenti''. I won't be able to meet with another attorney thru legal services programs until 8/26/03. Every one I have asked seems to be at a loss of what I need to do to file this along with the Grandparent Visitation. My 6 year old granddaughter is being emotionally, physically and medically abused. This is documented in medical records. On 5/17/03 whe was admitted to a hospital for croup weighing only 30 pounds. Any help you can give me about this form or how I would include this petition for ''in loco parenti'' would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Bobbie

Re: in loco parenti

I do have the forms for "In Loco Parentis". However, as an associate for my firm, I am unable to simply give these out. Please call me, and we can discuss under what terms I may be able to help you with some generic forms.

Also, am I the attorney that recommended this process?

Please call me directly. I look forward to talking with you.
