Marriage
I am 17 yeras old and my parents have joint custody of, my mom has me more. Do i need both parents consent to get married???

Nope...just your mom. Think long and hard about getting married, though. Although you might think you're ready, most young marriages fail. I'm a divorce attorney and see it far too often. Thankfully, when younger adults divorce, they often are more mature about it than people in their 30s and 40s. There really is no rush to get married, though. The last time I checked, they aren't even close to running out of marriage licenses. If you are the future wife and are pregnant, certainly wait until you know what you're getting into. Your rights are a little better while you're unmarried than married. It's not a HUGE difference, though. I got married at 25 and my wife was 22. We were far too young then, too, but no one could tell us that. Obviously I wouldn't undo my decision, though, but I had no idea what I was getting into and neither did my wife. And we knew each other for 15 years when I married her! If you still decide to get married, good luck and congratulations.
