I was married in Mexico. I was told that our divorce was final so i remarried in the United States. 13 years later I find out my divorce in Mexico was not final. I am already in the process of getting that took care of in Mexico. My question is, once the divorce in Mexico is really final, will I have to remarry my wife here in the United States? What steps do I need to take?

I believe you will have to remarry. You would need to obtain a valid marriage license and proceed to marry before someone licensed to perform such ceremonies.

Best of luck!
