Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I've been married going on 14 years. I recently found out he's still married to his so called ex of 17yrs. prior to me. My question; Am I legally married? We have 1 child together (11 yrs.) So where do i stand? I just want this to end. I've had enough.

Thank You,

If he was married at the time, your marriage was invalid, and never legally took place. You can seek a Decree of Annulment which merely puts the world on notice that your marriage was invalid.

You may of course still have property issues and debt issues since you have likely acquired prperty togather and debt together.

Further, you of course have custody and child support issues.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
