Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My minor son and his minor girlfriend just had a baby. Her parents want my son to sign a Superior court form to give them guardianship over the baby. Does this take away my sons rights as the father? Can we file co guardianship where all 4 grandparents are guardians? They are telling me that there is only room for 1 name on the form and they are choosing her dad????

You can absolutely appoint co-guardians.

YES, if they are appointed guardians, their rights exceed his. However, so long as it is a voluntary guardianship, he can always subsequently revoke his consent.

However, there may be VERY GOOD REASONS to not allow the guardianship and the precedent that it sets. These should be discussed with an experienced attorney.
