Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

A mom has let her three children live with us for over 3 months, but has not signed any papers giving us rights. Two of the children are my fiance's, but he is not on birth certificate and does not have any rights. Do we have any rights or custody rights because they are with us and not her?

You have nbo legal rights, but can obtain some either through a "delegation of parental rights", a voluntary guardinaship, or an involuntary guardianship.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

We have three attorneys. I would ask that you ask for my associate Carlie Owsley Walker, who handles most of our guardianship matters. She can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which she can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
