Mortgage obligation after a devoice

If I choose to let my wife have the house, am I ? /and how long am I still in debt to the mortgage company for the loan? How do I move on?

You are absolutely indebted to the mortgage company unless she refinances the home and removes your name. Be very cautions and ensure this is done. Otherwise your credit history is at risk.
