Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

If a mother has sole custody of a child living in AZ and wants to give full custody of the child to her mother or her grandmother, what would need to be done and would it have to involve the father that gave up his custodial rights that currently lives in VA?

There are several options. Some are more "permanent" then others. All will require Father's consent (or at least lack of objection). We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail. Please ask for attorney Carlie Owsley Walker, who handles most of our guardinahip/adoption matters.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
