Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
What is needed to get someone on charges of emotional abuse, extortion, and not providing basic care? My boyfriend's mom emotionally abuses him, to the point where he has developed mental illnesses and tried to commit suicide and thinks about it regularly. She also takes control of his money even though he is an adult and doesn't even buy groceries or provide basic care with it. And she claims that he lives there for free and won't even listen to a psychologist that she's doing something wrong. Is there a way to threaten legal action against her if she doesn't make reasonable requests?
