Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My parents have guardianship of my kids how do I get custody back?

In 2000 my parents were granted guardianship of my children. For the last couple years I have had them in my care and have proven I deserve to have them. My parents are collecting a check from the government and will not relinquish custody back. What would be the next logical step for me to do towards recieving custody back of my children?

It depends upon whether guardianship was given to them voluntarily or whether CPS was involved. Either way, if you have changed your circumstances, you should be able to change the Court orders.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Audrey to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
