Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My parents are in the process of getting a divorce. When it first started, they interviewed us kids to determine who we would live with and who we would visit. Before they allowed me to talk, they notified me that everything I say would be written and mailed to both parents, so all I said was I wanted to live with my mom. The truth is I don't want to see my dad, ever. He is making my life hell, and told me that he would never stop until he stops breathing. Is there a way I can be interviewed again or something? My mom already has 100% custody but I have to see my dad every other week. I don't want to see him at all, so I'm wondering what I can do to notify the court that I don't want to see him.
1 Answer from Attorneys
Your Mom can request that you be re interviewed. Your Mom can request that you be appointed your own attorney. Neither request is "guaranteed".
Please have your Mom contact us. She can contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
