what rights does an unmarried man have to an unborn baby if their name is not on the birth certificate

YOu have equal rights, assuming your are legally the father. If you believe you are, you can ask the mother to do a paternity test. Assuming she won't, you will have to file a petition to establish paternity, custody, and parenting time. The court will then order the DNA test to see if you are father. If so, then the court will have to determine the appropriate custody and parenting time arrangement. The court can also order you be placed on the birth certificate.
