Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
I've been paying my son's medical insurance premiums as per the consent decree agreement with my ex-wife. Now that my son is 18, am i legally obligated to continue paying this or can I ask my ex-wife to help with this? Our consent decree does not require me to pay any child support, but I did pay a nominal amount toward child-related expenses up until he left for college this past fall.
Also, we still have a 13 year old daughter under joint custody.

Once your son is 18 and out of high school, you no longer have the Court ordered obligation to maintain his health insurance.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
