Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
payment of bank card debt
ex wife/ex husband agree in divorce decree that each pay half of CC debt. ex wife pays minimum, other pays extra each month. ex wife makes large payment. States in letter one amount, yet receipt and bank state another. A letter is written pointing out math error. Letter written back, protesting. States son will be over this Sunday with money, and paper to sign. If not home, she states she assumes that we do not want the payment, and she will keep money. This would make ex husband having to pay extra what she hasn't. All of this is going against divorce decree. What rights do we have, and how can she threaten us like that. Son is very beligerant and threatening. I as the new wife feel very uncomfortable in his presence. I have already been called many derogatory names by this individual. All this is done to get back at ''my husband''
It also puzzles me why she did not just send money directly to CC company, but insists that ''we'' receive the money. Any help that you could give us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Re: payment of bank card debt
This is really just a math problem. Any unresolved issues (or, if you cannot reach an agreement on the topic) can be addressed in Court through Expedited Services. You can also seek a restraining Order against the son, if that is something you are willing to requests, due to his behavior.
I can explain the issues and procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
