Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I am planning to leave my husband due to his infidelity. I currently reside in AZ but have secured a job in CA. We have no debt, own 4 cars, 3 homes (2 in AZ, 1 in MN), and 2 vacant lots (WY). I have already discussed with him about my leaving but I gave in to the emotions and ended up changing my story to say that I was only leaving for one year (due to job in CA). Due to prices of rent in CA, he has agreed to look for homes with me. Is this a good idea or am I taking myself down a road that will be complicated later eg, now it will show I reside in CA, we have a new home which will likely incure mortgage debt for a couple of years until it can be paid off. I cannot afford the mortgage on this new salary alone and will likely just make ends meet on my own.

Question:

Do I go ahead and purchase the home with him? He will be financially able to pay it off in 2 years.

Should I list the home in my name? (I can pay $2K or the 3K mortgage). He pays remainder.

Legal implications?
