Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

i am a potential father of a child, however the mother denies allowing me access to a paternity test and has began the process of putting another man on the child's birth certificate. Is there any legal petitions I can file to prove genetic paternity?

Yes, you can file a Petition to establish paternity. If the Mother/child reside in Maricopa County, Arizona, you can use the forms/instructions found at this link:

You can and should file a Complaint to Establish Paternity. She will then be forced to participate in genetic testing.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.
