Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Procedure to subpoena ex to produce children to testify

I'm coming up to a divorce trial and my only concern is custody of the children. My children have all expressed they want to be with me-ages 10,11,& 13-and I want that to be the case. I'm representing myself, but I feel the only chance I have of convincing the court is having my children testify. How do I go about compelling her to produce them at the date of the trial?

No Judge is going to allow the children to testify in Court.

You can ask that the children be interviewed, whether in chambers by the Judge or by a Court-employed counselor.

I can explain the issues and procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Audrey to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
