Re: Property Division

It is not clear what your interest in the matter is. There are not set statutes or rules under Arizona law for how long anyone remains at the residence or has to buy out the other party. If it is an ex-wife, then I assume there was a divorce proceeding in court. Normally the division of property in the divorce would cover the family house, any buy out provisions. If you are the husband, I suggest you carefully review your final decree. If this matter did not get addressed, the husband should talk with the original divorce lawyer or take the case back to court for clarification. If the divorce is still pending, these are matters that can be negotiated fairly between the parties. Good Luck
