Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I have a question relating to a dispute over my deceased father's pension. His ex wife, in their divorce documents was stated to be entitled to half of the money that accumulated while they were married. This equals out to about a quarter of the money in the fund. She has since filed a more recent QDRO with the local court that seems to be contradictory to the divorce agreement. What do we do now?

You must quickly file an appropriate objection to the QDRO (Qualified Domestic Relations Order) if it does not match the intentions of the Decree. Time is of the essence.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
