hello. i have a few questions for my whole situation any help would be very much apreciated. My wife left with my 3 yr old daughter and was 7 months pregnant about 2 yrs ago. she then put a protective order on me but contacted me thus breaking it, then she moved again to another state without telling me until after and rarely letting me speak with my kids. She was going to file for divorce but never did. I am illegal she is not. Now she has moved again and i dont know where she is and have no numbers to contact her, I want a divorce and at least partial custody of my children if not full custody. What can i do and how can i approach this, please help...? Thank you

Rich Peters R.J. Peters & Assoc., P.C.

You can and should file for divorce. Your immigration status should not be an issue. We will need to find her and the children, however, and may need the assistance of an investigator to do so.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
