Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
i just recently got a divorce and never used an attorney. looking back, that was a huge mistake. i just want to make sure that my child support/custody is fair. my ex-makes $53,000 a year. i make about $500 a month. we have joint custody but i have them about 70% of the time more. right now i'm getting $222 a child plus $150 for spousal support. the spousal support ends in six months. i'm a stay at home mother and i take care of the kids mon-friday 8am to 5pm. So i have them a lot. We were married for 6 years and i stayed home with the children. My ex has a bachelors degree and a good career. I just want to make sure that i'm not getting the short end of the stick. does the child support right for how much we both make? should i have tried to get alimony because i was with him while he was in school and now he has this great job and i dont have anything? Please help!
Thanks,
Brittany

Brittany:
I would propose that we meet for one hour. I could gather all of the financial informaiton necessary to run a few scenarios, and then talk with you as to whether what the Judge ordered was in the ballpark. I charge $250 per hour, but would do this for $200 flat.
We can then certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of this matter.
