Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I am recently divorced and have two children, my ex is an illegal from Mexico and pays no child support but has visitation rights given by the courts. He has never had a stable job or a place of his own. He does drugs, and has had a restraining order put on him for rape. The case was dismissed, but he has also raped me. I filed no report due to fear and the fact that everyone says that I have no case because we were married at the time. I fear for the safety of my children. Is there anyway that I can get help on changing the court order visitation rights.

If you believe the current orders are not in the children's best interests, you could seek to modify them. You must show a change in circumstances since the current orders.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
