Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
Recently my ex-wife moved to Texas and I have a notarized custody agreement between us in Arizona stating that I will have physical custody of her. We dont have a child support order and the last 4months she as not visited her nor provided ANY financial support. Our original divorce case was in California where we both had 50/50 custody where she was the petitioner. Is she legally allowed to provide absolutely no support with out a court order? How can I transfer the custody case from CA to AZ and file the notarized agreement stating that I have full custody?
1 Answer from Attorneys
You can "domesticate" your CA orders, and then seek mto establish childm support in Arizona. We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
