Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
Releasing Parental Rights
A friend of mine recently got a girl pregnant. She has said that she will keep and raise the baby herself. How does he go about making sure that he will not be liable down the road in case she changes her mind. What papers does he or both of them need to sign?

Re: Releasing Parental Rights
In order for him to be free of any child support obligations, she must sign a full and complete waiver of child support.
I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of the case, or contact my assistant Alicia to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
