relocation of my child
i am considering getting a divorce. my husband is very manipulative and told me that if i take our son he will call the police and take our son away from me. he said they will give custody to him since i am not currently working full-time. i have no family here and would need to move to another state. i need to know what my legal rights are

Based on the information you have provided, neither of you have custody rights of the child, therefore the police will not do anything because there is no order to violate. Further, your not working full time could serve as a basis to care for the child more. Always attempt to compromise since parents who ultimately share joint custody are expected to do so.
