As a general rule, the duty to support your child or children is ongoing. If you leave a job, the court assumes you will get a new job and the obligation to pay continues. Your question said quit, so I assume you left voluntarily. You need to find a new job. If you have a substantial change of circumstances, like a disability, you would have to request the court Modify the child support order. Many people take action on their own; you can get forms and directions from the Maricopa County Self-Service Center at < http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/ssc/sschome.html >. If your case is in another county than Maricopa, just change the county court name to the one your case is in. Most courts in Arizona will accept these forms. You need to work through to the MODIFICATION OF CHILD SUPPORT forms. Good Luck,
