Generally speaking, you would get divorced in the state where you currently reside, regardless of where you got married. If your spouse does not reside in AZ or if you have children with your spouse who do not reside in AZ, there may be some other considerations, so I recommend you speak with an attorney in the county where you reside for specific guidance.

So long as you have been in AZ for 90 days, you can file here. Where does Husband live, though?

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for divorce.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
