What are my rights if my ex isn't fulfilling his obligations of the divorce? He is paying spousal maintnace and child support but has yet to pay me the amount he agreed to pay for my half of our business and he is supposed to be paying for our daughters gymnastics. All of this is in the divorce decree.

You can file a Petition for Enforcement. In doing so, you can ask that any attorney's fees you were forced to incur in order to force his compliance are reimbursed by him. You can and probably should start with a demand letter from an attorney.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
