Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I am in a same-sex marriage. My husband and I have been separated for 20 months, he lives in NJ and I live in AZ. Can I file for divorce in AZ? If not how do I get divorced?

No you cannot file for a divorce in AZ because Arizona does not recognize the legitimacy of your marriage. If you are a resident of California you can file for divorce there. What are the issues with real and personal property that need to be divided? You can give us a call at 462 1004 and ask Stephanie Coulter to make arrangements to chat with me.
