Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

i am currently separated from my wife, about to file the divorce paperwork in a few weeks. she is currently residing with her mother, and isnt letting me see my son. it seems as though i cant do anything right now without filing paperwork that will take a lot of time. what do i do, i want to see my son now.

She certainly should not restrict access. We could certainly contact her and encourage her to act reasonably. Otherwsie, you are correct that a Petition must be filed. You can also file a Petition for Temporary Orders, which is your quickest method of getting before a Judge.
