separation/divorce papers
Can an attorney in Texas write up papers (don't know exactly what it is - they are just separating and have a child) for my daughter in law - who wants my son to sign them. They live in arizona.

Yes. But If they live in Arizona, you might think they would want Arizona law to be the applicable law. Why she would do this I don't know. Tell your son to take the papers to his nearest Arizona attorney for review.
