If a couple seperated 5 years ago but neither ever filed for divorce is the husband still liable for any children the wife has with another man?

Thank you for your inquiry. The law presumes that the husband is the father of any child born to the mother during marriage; however, with appropriate paternity documentation, the husband can be relieved of this presumption and the father can be held responsible.
