Arizona does not have a separation requirement before divorce; however, in order to file for divorce in Arizona, at least one of the parties must have resided here for at least 90 days, and if there are children, they must have resided here for at least 6 months.

No need for any passing of time unless you have a covenant marriage. Legal separation works the same was a dissolution does except you are still married at the end of the case. Please feel free to call and set up a time where we can meet. Make sure you get educated on the process before you do anything. Look me up at www.singinglawyeraz.com
