Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
I share 2 kids with my ex who is about to get married. I'm wondering if her salary will be taken into consideration for child support. I live in AZ and I have heard that half of her salary is considered his since it is a community state so 50% of her salary will be taken into consideration for child support calculations. What are the facts?

If your child support orders are issued in Arizona, then her income will NOT be considered in the child support calculation. Likewise, if you remarry, your spouse's income will NOT be considered. Under the statute, only biological and/or adoptive parents have the obligation to support a child. Step-parents do not.
Her income IS NOT considered for child support calculations in Arizona.
