Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
currently have sole physical custody of two of my children, And joint legal. My daughter is enrolled in a school close to my home with my two other children. Her father has visitation on Mondays and Tuesdays because of his days off of work. Which means he has to take her to school. He lives 40-45 min away. He is requesting to put her in a school closer to him which I do not agree with. I believe that she should go to school closer to where we live because I have her the majority of the week and she is attending with her older brother and sister. He also had gone to the school prior to it starting and told the principal that he would allow her to attend the school. SO what does Joint legal custody actually cover?

UNless you have some kind of final decision making authority, and you would refer to your parenting plan or decree for this answer, then you make those decisions together. If you disagree, then you should keep status quo unless and until you reach an agreement on some other school or a court orders it. He or you would be free to ask for the help of a mediator through conciliation services. There is a free form available on line if you are in Maricopa County.
