Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

my son is divorced and his ex got remarried and they both had jobs she just had a new baby and wants to stay home which is ok so she quit her job and he quit and got a new job she has filled for food stamps and access and the state is now going after my son for it.he does not pay child support per the courts as they have them 50 50 will they be able to make him pay child support due to her filling for the foodstamps or access
