Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

i have my son full time and have since birth. his father is court ordered to pay child support and i have never received money from him. now 3 years later my sons fathers mother just had me served with papers saying she wants some kind of custody. i don't want her to have any rights to my son for she has been a lot of trouble. i even had a order of protection against her. the most i will budge is supervised visits in my home with me there. what can i do? how do i respond to this?

PLEASE SET UP A CONSULTATION IN OUR OFFICE AS SOON AS YOU ARE ABLE. You need to file a timely response to her Petition.

We can then certainly help you consider and then pursue your options in defending her requests. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
