Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Spoucel Support

I've been to court and had the judge rule that my X pay arrears since last December, this was done in June of this year. I've now filed for an order to enforce an order, appaerently they will now schedule a date for us to meet with an mediator. this will be the second time around and still no enforcement. Is there another way to do this? I've heard that people have been to court and had the paycheck garnished of the other party. I feel like I'm going in circles. Can a garnishment be given to my X. what is the best way to have this done.

Yes, first, you need to make sure your order for support is an enforceable judgment. If it is, then you can attach his wages, you can empty his bank accounts, you can empty his current wife's bank accounts (if he is married), you can put a lien on his property, etc.

If you know where he works, then garnishment should be easy, They do an order of assignment.
